This vintage brass silent butler features an engraved coat of arms on the top, a hinged lid, and a wooden handle. Traditionally, a butler was used in the mid-20th century to collect table crumbs after a meal or to gather ashes from an ashtray. This item has a thumb-lever to effortlessly lift the hinged flap to collect crumbs.
